For decades, the Occupation Forces have wrongfully imprisoned an estimated 1 million Palestinians without cause, and without the right to a fair trial. The Occupation Forces label imprisoned Palestinians as “terrorists” to justify their oppression. Thousands of Palestinians, including children are often tried in military courts where they face biased proceedings, limited access to defence lawyers, as well as physical and sexual abuse in detention. The systematic targeting and prosecution of Palestinians in military courts, coupled with the near-100% conviction rate highlights a clear pattern of injustice and human rights violations. This is what Apartheid looks like in 2024.
